Usually filling bottles with the correct pills and label. Also, preparing IVs and other solutions. "Compounding" custom mixtures of medicines. Analyzing the potential for interactions among drugs administered to patients. Assessing administration routes (for example parenteral v. oral).

Vanessa Said:

Job issues im in grade ten they are asking me to decide STRESSED?

We Answered:

*facepalm*

the pay rate of a job is associated with the number of people who are qualified to work in that job, and the demand for positions

say that right now, the world needs 500 orthodontists (obviously this isn't a very accurate analysis, its just for explaining purposes) and there are only 300 trained orthodontists. that means that those orthodontists are pretty in demand, there aren't enough to go round, they will get paid more

say in 10 years time, everyone decides they want to study orthodontistry. we still only need 500 orthodontists, but there are 1000 trained orthodontists. that means all of a sudden the pay rate will become pretty sucky, and heaps of people will be out of a job.

that is why you SHOULDNT EVER choose a job just because it pays more. because by the time you are fully qualified, the pay might be pretty different

but out of the jobs listed, dentistry probably pays the most, and will probably stay that way. its a pretty gross job though, they have the highest suicide rate of any profession

registered nurses work horrible hours

for all of the above, you need to spend 3-5 years at uni

in high school, you should be taking ap maths or advanced maths or whatever you have at your school, english, biology, chemistry, physics, and whatever else you want, because that should cover it. pharmacy and orthodontistry apparently have a bit of math in them, so if you don't like math, then don't do those careers.
