Jobs As A Pharmacist
Karl Said:
How quickly and efficiently can a person obtain a job as a pharmacist? We Answered:
The degree given is a Pharm. D degree and normally takes 6 years of college. It will take 2 years of pre-requisites and if accepted will be an additional 4 years of actual pharmacy school. Each pharmacy school has different admitting requirements but generally you have to do very well in the undergraduate courses and take the national PCAT test before admission. Upon graduation, getting a job is very easy. You will be recruited while in school and normally have a job waiting upon graduation. Good luck.Travis Said:

I know some pharmacist that went on to careers in pharmaceutical management (the business side of pharmacy) and another went and became a teacher (pharmacy school) at a university. Does your wife work in a retail pharmacy? Has she considered working in an inpatient pharmacy at a hospital? The enviornment there is different than in retail.
