Hi There!I was born in BC and lived in Vancouver for almost two years. One thing you might want to keep in mind is that the Olympics are coming up in Whistler, so the city is BUZZING right now with development. Whatever you're into, Van's employment outlook is very good! Depending on how much you want to detract from your current goal of getting into the film / costuming industry (which I can see as not being easy), that will most likely determine your next step. Keep in mind that if you want to do the corporate thing...it's an 8-4, time consuming, full-time job. On the other hand, if you're just wanting to pick up some extra cash, I would suggest becoming a bartender or something that you could do at night. Anyway, good luck and enjoy Vancouver!! It's a wonderful city!!! :-)
