Careers:Dentist, Pharmacy, Vet?We Answered:
Find a good college with all these majors, then you can select when you get into the school. First two years, requires geneal studies - math, science, english etc....Take some classes that might be related to these majors, then you will find out about them. All these require very strong chemistry background,

Pharmacy or Pharmacologist?We Answered:
Ask yourself this: Would you enjoy making/test new drugs, seeing different results/experimenting or filling up medicines and answering patients' questions more? Both sound boring. However, I would think working in a Pharmacy would be a little overwhelming: constantly throwing out different medicines after patients coming in and out after one from another. Taking certain phone calls at the same time. It's kinda like a front office except you deal with pills.
In pharamacology, it would be more like working in group projects and getting the projects done.
The above stated are merely my opinions based on your observations. By no means I know anything about then real well. I don't even like Chemistry let alone pursuing in those careers. :)

Should I do pharmacy at university in Australia, or economics? We Answered:
G'day,Lemme guess... you are from Asia? I'm from Asia and I was faced with the same "suggestions" by my relatives & parents between science and economics. I eventually took Bachelor of Business course, majoring in Marketing and business IT (the closest thing in business to science).
Pharmacy can be quite tough as well. I can imagine the setup will be quite costly. Competition can be quite tough as well with supermarkets nowadays are selling some medicines with cheaper prices. I also imagine that you will need to be up-to-date with law requirements as well, as medicines like morphines and Sudafet are extremely tightly regulated by the government due to the possibility of abuse. And to top it all... you are kinda directly responsible for human's life... a bit scary for me.
Economics is part of business studies, and it is quite theoretical studies. Some ppl like it, not me. For science ppl, business IT (or sometimes called Management Information System) or Accounting may be more suitable. If you are more outgoing person, marketing may also be your area. If you like psychology-like studies, then management or human resource management will be your liking.
Lavish lifestyle got nothing to do with your study. It is more like how do you approach your life and work. If you enjoy your profession very much and very creative in pushing your business, then even opening a car wash can be rewarding and money-making as well (especially with water problems in Australia nowadays).
Hope this helps. There's no definite answer to your question I suppose, but I just tried to offer a different perspective :) Good luck for your study and welcome to Australia :)

Process of a Pharmacy Career? We Answered:
Most pharmacy programs have a list of courses required for admission. Things like chemistry, biology, physics, biochem, organic chemistry, calc, English, etc. Verify the actual requirements for any program you might apply to in advance because some schools require extra courses like genetics. You have to finish all of them, and then apply to the program. Many people like to finish out an AA or BA before applying, but its not generally a requirement.
Once you're in the program, it's more courses and internship style rotations. And the grand result is a PhD in pharmacy.
Pre-pharm is offered at some universities. It basically is a "major" that allows you to take all of the required courses without having to declare another major.

Less stressful career--optometry or pharmacy? We Answered:
Both jobs arent too nerve-wracking.. but graduating with a PharmD or OD will be a bit stressful. These are two completely different degrees, and you will need to job shadow to see which one are most compatible with you.Im guessing that not a lot of people responded to this because.. being a doctor requires you to be stressed out. You'll be spending a lot of nights studying and in the clinic. I can garuntee that you can handle the stress of the job if you can graduate from either optometry or pharmacy school.
Either jobs will allow you to have a life outside of work. Overall, i would say pharmacy is less stressful.
