They will mainly ask casual questions just to get to know you. To them it is important that they hire somebody who has proper appearance, is polite, articulate and willing to take directions. Whatever you do, do not ask how much the pay is during your interview.

Nationally, the average income is $13 per hour. A new uncertified tech at Wags will start at about $9 per hour, and a new, certified tech will start at about a $1 more.
Certification is a national program. Most states do not require certification and will not ask for it.
Most states do license pharm techs. The license is only good for the state which issues it.
Most states do not require any hours before pharm tech licensure.

Why are you confused? It's obvious she needs to pass the FPGEE exam first, then work a year in a pharmacy, then pass the regular licensing exam. Recognition of the 4yr degree is being phased out, so it's now or never. There are good books on passing the FPGEE exam, for example by Manan Shroff.

Definitely pharmacy. My uncle is a pharmacist and I plan on going into that career, too.

One of the benefits I can think of off the top of my head is his 7-on 7-off schedule. He works for 7 days, and is off for 7 days. And if a coworker needs you to cover for them for x amount of days, those days that you worked for them is added to your "weekend". For example, let's say you worked your 7 days but a friend needed you to work 3 more for him. Instead of having 7 days off, you'll have 10 which I think is awesome, especially for vacations and personal days.
