Pharmacist Assistant Jobs

James Said:

Should i become a Pharmacist, Physician Assistant or Business such as Accountant?

We Answered:

The word fun does not come to mind strongly with any of the roles you list. I do not mean one can not have fun being a creative accountant or a mischievous pharmacist.

But attending college and working at the same job is bound to take away what one would call fun from it. What you may need to evaluate is whether you still feel that what you would be doing is very much worth doing. If that is intact, you should stay the course. If you have doubts that you will be able to contribute much to the health of your customers, then fun or no fun, you probably should not go on.

In our vocation we urgently need to feel that we are being of service, that we are needed. Fun, if it happens is a poor substitute. Also, fun is very hard to come by if we are tired from too many hours of work too often. Once you are out of college, your hours should become less a problem. But seriously, plan to have some fun outside of the job too.

Can a Philippine Licensed Pharmacist work as Pharmacy Clerk or Assistant in USA or Australia?

We Answered:

The pharmacy tech regulations vary by state. In Illinois, you just have to have a high school diploma. Pharm techs don't get paid much. They average nationally about $13 per hour.
Since you graduated back in 1988, a 4 year pharmacy degree will be considered equivalent. You could, in theory, become a licensed pharmacist in the U.S.

what jobs makes good money? (pharmacist, real estate, Makeup artist, or dentist assistant?)?

We Answered:

Pharmacist will be a good career in demand for quite some time. They can make 70k right out of school, which is rare. Most professions take several years to get that kind of salary. Bad thing is that a lot of math and chemistry is required in school. You would have to have at least a semester of Calculus as well as a few years of Chemistry.

Real Estate agents usually can make a lot of money, but NOT right now. The economy is too poor and real estate is a mess. It will improve, but not for awhile.

Dental Assistant is good and makes around the 35k range. Usually only a 2-year degree is required. Most community colleges have Dental Assisting programs so it doesnt cost much to get the education,
