to be a pharmacist you have to complete the pharmacy program and then pass your boards to get a license. a degree in education shouldnt help you out at all for pharmacy. i dont know how some countries work or what they require, hopefully the same, because its an important job that just anybody shouldnt do.

to be honest, pharmacist job have a little scope in india. you can work in indian pharma industry. you will get a better job there.

pharmacist's role in medication in india is to deliver the drugs to patients only. all drugs are written by doctors. which is dissimilar from USA.

pharmacist's role is just like a shop keeper who open a medical shop and deliver the drugs to patients according to doctor's prescription.

I think you understood what I want to say. I am telling you because I am also a pharmacist from india.

but don't think like crowkit who stupidly thinks you can become health minister here. education level in india is very good that dumbo like crowkit cannot understand.

He's probably going to have to go to school for a little bit here, depending on what they say he needs here to qualify. In WA state, you need at least a PharmD. So it would depend what credits they can transfer from his current college, and if its an American accredited degree, even if he does graduate there.

Either way tho, he's pretty set. They're always looking for Pharmacists here.

If you graduated after 2003, you cannot be a licensed pharmacist in the U.S. You can however still find employment in not practicing settings.

Get a PharmD. The Indian 4 year bachelors is not considered an equivalent degree in the U.S. You will need another year of pharmacy education.
