Not necessarily, if you work in a pharmacy on the High St you might have to advise people re drugs to buy and you might have to deal with drug company reps.
Why not pluck up courage and ask one of your local pharmacists and maybe they can advise you about other jobs available when you are qualified?

i started at walgreens when i was 16 and my manager wanted to put me in the pharmacy but at first i didnt wan to because all of our customers are 65+ and really mean and I'm extremely timid so i said no thanks i will just stay a cashier. But now that I am 20 I am now in the pharmacy because I feel a little more confident back there. But you can be back there at 16 but i would recommend to atleast apply for a cashier job for now because every walgreens lost about 2 techs per store because they are switching to a "power" system. But if you work for the company and they ever need a tech they can promote you and put you in the pharmacy.
