Ivan Said:
Is a RN a good job?????We Answered:
Honestly, I am thinking about the same thing myself. And this website really helped, it gave every detail of info. http://www.allnursingschools.com/nursing-resources/salariesand then I asked on here, and got some GREAT answers. It does pay well, if you become a RN, you will be looking at at least 50k, and probably up around 70k a year with an average job. and once you are an Rn, you can specialize in a particular field, and that takes abotu 1 to 2 years to get it. depending on your experience, and the program you go with. after specialized, you can easily see 100k+ a year.
so yes, it is a good job, and like others said, it will allways be open. no recession or stuff like that. people will ALLWAYS be getting sick, etc. Healthcare, and Law Enforcement will allways have work. (even if the law enforcement is working for a dictator later on) lol.
Good luck with whatever you choose !
