There are no minimum entry requirements, although you will usually be expected to have four GCSEs at Grade C or above, or the equivalent, including English, science and maths. You will then need to obtain a trainee post either at a hospital or in a community pharmacy. Some trusts may offer the chance to train through an apprenticeship for pharmacy technicians.

Your mum must have worked at the same job, where they trained her. But if she had to find another job, then they might ask her for the NVQ in Dispensing and from then on, she would have been stuck. So my advice is get the qualifications, because another firm might want to see proof of it !!!!

She should be aware that she cannot get a USA license in Pharmacy unless she has a doctorate level degree in Pharmacy. She is therefore unlikely to get an independent permanent residency.

Go for the Optometric Assistant. Unless specified by your state (http://www.pharmacy.ca.gov/), you don't need any formal education to be a Pharmacy Technician. Also, starting out in retail you will be lucky to make more than minimum wage.

What school (hs) you went to
Any colleges you attended w/major and gpa
Why you chose pharmacy as a career
What pharmacy means to you
What you plan on doing after you complete this degree (like what field of pharmacy you will work in and the area(like urban, rural,etc)
Write the letter in standard letter format.

learn as much as you can of the theory
if you havent started the course find out the recommended text and start familiarising yourself with the tasks
check the objectives of the course, identify what the practical requirements are
research the exercise, memorise it, then visualise yourself completing the task

Illinois law says if you were convicted of any felony while you have the license, your license is either suspended or revoked. The issue is that the felony happened before, with that, you'll need to contact the Illinois Board of Pharmacy.

Pharmacy Tech it will help you in your job field, they pay about the same. If you work in a hospital a pharm tech is more flexible, other than that they both are clinic jobs so they are usually 8-5
