I have completed my bechlor of pharmacy from india.do i have any job opportunities in canada? We Answered:
Before you try to launch your career in Pharmaceuticals in Canada, you will probably want to verify that your qualifications are transferable. Many people come to Canada with degrees expecting to start working, but then find out that they have to re-certify most, if not all of their training.Hope this helps, and good luck to you!

is there a great job opportunity for licensed pharmacy tech in the state of illinois? We Answered:
For a new, uncertified pharmacy tech, expect about $8-$9 per hour. To find a job, just call your local pharmacies and ask if they have any openings.William Said:
how about the job opportunities after completing the masters from abroad in pharmacy? We Answered:
You did not mention your present qualification. B.Pharmacy students can do M.Pharm.If you done B.Pharmacy than better get entry in to Pharm.D. (3 years Post Baccalaureate course). The eligibility is B.Pharmacy.
The duration of Pharm.D course is 6-year after 10+2. (If you are 10+2 than do Pharm.D.)
Pharm.D hold more value in India and abroad.
Whether doing Pharmacy course done from UK is valid in India or not. This is to be checked from Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) if it recognizes the particular university for Pharmacy courses as valid in India or not. Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) regulates the Pharmacy education / study in India.
Only Pharmacy courses done by students from PCI approved Institutes are eligible to register as Pharmacist in India.
Please visit Pharmacy Council of India web site for more information.

What job opportunities are available if you attend pharmacy school? We Answered:
The average GPA to get into the program I attend was a 3.5. That's about the average for most schools, while the most competitive programs want a bit higher. But there are a number of programs in almost every state. They look for really solid Organic Chem grades and other sciences in general, some experience in a pharmacy, a desire to work in the health care field, and it doesn't hurt to be well-spoken and a good communicator in general. You can find a defined list of pre-requisite courses on any pharmacy program's website. For after graduation, there are countless types of jobs for pharmacists--really, the sky is the limit. About half of all pharmacy school (Doctor of Pharmacy) grads go into retail/community pharmacies such Walgreens / CVS / Target because the salary is solid, usually 100k per year or more.
The other half of PharmD grads is very, very mixed. Some go to clinical pharmacy such as hospitals (they make a bit less on average but the benefit is that there is no customer service involved), some do post-graduate education like fellowships or residencies--these are one or two year training programs where you specialize in a field such as cardiovascular pharmacy, pediatrics, oncology, etc--I'm told this is the way to go, because these pharmacists work very closely with a set of patients in a hospital and are involved in their treatment/recovery.
Some graduates go on to be sales reps for drug companies, or into the pharmaceutical industry (which in itself has a million different jobs)--a friend of a friend works for a drug company and he is working on trials for HIV meds. So my point is, there are tons of different, rewarding jobs that all have the benefit of financial security. If you decide to go to pharmacy school, that's where the real process begins in finding your niche.

which lands more job opportunities for pharmacy technicians, taking the ExCPT exam or the PTCB exam?We Answered:
PTCB exam is preferable. It is accepted across the United States, whereas ExCPT is only accepted in some states. You are more likely to get a job with PTCB certification.
