How do I find a good job?We Answered:
HiTry when you are applying for a position instead of sending a resume, draw up a business plan to justifyyou getting the job. Do a little homework on the net about the company you are applying to and work out the profit and loss statement to attach to it. This will blow them away.
I used this when I went for a position against about 400 applicants and they hired me without experience in the industry because I thought outside the norm.
Since then I am now running my own business in the same industry and have never looked back.

Job Search Help....what am i doing wrong?!?We Answered:
hey - it might be worth going back to the places where you've been applying and asking them directly about why your applications haven't been successful. You can ring the pharmacy, say you submitted your CV a while ago and just wanted to check if they were still going through applications, or if you hadn't been successful, what were they're reasons? You're not wanting to make them (or yourself!) feel bad, but some constructive advice on your CV/cover letter might help.It may be your application/experience is fine but they just went with someone else but if they do have any advice on your application then you can use that to amend your CV if needed.
While you're still looking you can do some voluntary work or something - can never have too much experience and who knows, it may lead to something more permanent and that pays!
good luck!

Landing a Pharmacy Technician job?We Answered:
The demand for technicians is variable. You will see many positions open up over the summer. This is when people graduate and leave the field for whatever they got their degree in. The demand keeps increasing, but we also have a lot of people entering the field. Max is right about the catch 22. Taking a clerk job is one option, the other is volunteering at a large hospital or a not for profit pharmacy. This will increase your experience. When you volunteer or clerk, make sure you rock it. By the end of your volunteer experience, you want the staff to be going to the manager saying: she is so good, we need to hire her. I am a pharmacy manager, and can tell you this works great. As far as glorified cashier goes, that is crap. Pharmacy technicians in majority of states are licensed or registered to do a lot more than cashier. In the hospital setting I work in, my technicians are the backbone of the pharmacy.
