what steps must i take to become a pharmacy manager? We Answered:
I'm sure you are not going to Oregon State University, however, if you click on this link, it will tell you what college classes you would have to take in order to get your undergrad degree in pre-pharmacy. Almost all of the other colleges are likely to have the same classes as the ones on this link.http://pharmacy.oregonstate.edu/current-…
This second link has even more details that the first link missed.

You'll find a job by applying at different locations (hospitals, CVS and many more)

Does anyone know how to become a pharmacy tech at publix? We Answered:
tech jobs are not drying up. My husband and I are moving to Nashville Friday. We are both pharmacy technicians, we had MULTIPLE job offers. Together we will be making $1250 more per month.Maybe the other answerer is just not a good technician?
You do not need to go to a school to be a pharmacy technician. I did not go to one, and I get paid well, and have been a tech for 8 years.
States usually do not have tests, but you might have to fill out some forms and pay a fee to get your individual state licensures.
I have a PTCB certification (CPhT) as well as a TN and KY state lecenses.
Study for and take the PTCB certification exam. Upon passing, you will be a CPhT. The test is super easy. I would suggest getting a job at a hospital in the pharmacy. They pay far better than retail pharmacies. You get to see lots of neat stuff and the benefits are usually awesome.

is being a Walgreen pharmacy tech stressful job?We Answered:
LOL, you probably can find that in most jobs, customers get impatient, or some of them are just plain out rude and want to put out there frustrations on you.Tonya Said:
I briefly spoke to the Pharmacy Manager last Friday, would it be weird to send him a letter...?We Answered:
It would be fine to send him a letter. As long as you keep it business like and to the point, it could improve your chances of getting hired.Sergio Said:
i am a trainee pharmacy technition but they treat me like im qualified :( how do i tell the manager its unfair? We Answered:
You need to decide if you want to stay or not. If you do, then you need to establish boundaries and gain respect. You can't live the rest of your life constantly being sympathetic to a staffing problem of the management. You have just as much right as anyone else to your holiday. If the direction they are going is to have you man the deck, and they have stated this to you, I would ask for a meeting with your supervisor AND manager. I would have 2 people there.
I would aks what their intentions are with you. If they think you are such a better worker than the rest and are giving you more responsibility, then where is the money? So I would ask them to give you a review and if it's not yet time for a review yet, ask them to lay it out on the table now how they think things are going.
Keep the communication going and see where you get. Let them know in a diplomatic and professional way what your concerns are.
Choose when you would like to go on holiday, within reason, at least a couple months away etc... to give them time to plan, and tell them you have already booked. Tell them you ARE going on holiday between this date ---- and this date and then they must take responsibility to make sure it is covered. Don't do this in at a time that you know they will be busiest and need you the most though.
Stick up for yourself. You have rights as well. Do it professionally while letting them know they can't walk all over you just because you are new and have less experience.
This is one of the most difficult yet best assets you will ever gain in a career. Learning your boundaries and commanding respect by placing them. It's uncomfortable, but it does work and soon they realize that they can't take advantage any more.
Always be professional and polite and state what you would like and your needs.
If they can't meet them, you need to seek employment elsewhere.
