Note: You must have a High School Diploma or GED equivalence and complete Phase 1 training before you can apply for a Pharmacy Technician permit.
Once you receive your permit you must complete Phase 2 training within 90 days.


You need to speak to a local Pharmacist to find out how long it takes to complete Phase 1 training.

I doubt you could find a Pharmacy willing to offer Pharmacy Technician training to you unless you had your High School Diploma or were within 30-90 days (depending on how long it actually takes to complete Phase 1 training) of receiving your High School Diploma.

You could start studying at home to prepare for Phase 1-2 training.
Some good books you could use are:

you get hires the first week or two is mostly computer training then on hands training. If your gonna work at a busy store they usually ship you to a slower store for training, 2 weeks roughly.
