Probably, but some pharmacies want you to take and pass the "state test" first.

Christian Said:

Does beocming a Pharmacy Technician Require a High School Diploma?

We Answered:

I don't know about California, but where I'm at, you don't necessarily need to have graduated highschool, but you do need to have taken pharmacy-tech college classes. One of my friends actually took those classes at the local community college while still in highschool, and she'll be certified by the time she graduates.

Velma Said:

how is studying diploma in pharmacy technician in canada after B.pharmacy?

We Answered:

Its quite competitive and expensive but pay is good after graduating.

Brittany Said:

What's the difference between certificate, diploma and associate of pharmacy technician?

We Answered:

They want to see you are certified, if that. That's the only program which is really regulated by a pharmacy group, ASHP. The others are just a waste of money for such a low paying job, average salary is $13 per hour.

Jessie Said:

Pharmacy technician?

We Answered:

Pharmacy colleges encourage or require applicants to have volunteer or paid experience working with patients in a pharmacy or health-related setting (hospital, nursing home, etc.). On-going work or volunteer experience in a pharmacy setting may be an important factor in the admissions process. If you are unable to gain work or volunteer experience directly related to pharmacy, contact your selected pharmacy admission offices to determine what other experiences they might accept that will adequately demonstrate your knowledge of the profession.

The educational requirements for pharmacy technicians vary by state. Some states require no formal education while other states require an associate's degree. For more information about pharmacy technicians, visit the website for the American Association of Pharmacy Technicians at http://www.pharmacytechnician.com/.

Leona Said:

the fast way to get the pharmacy technician diploma in U.S.A.?

We Answered:

A diploma for being a Pharmacy technician is a waste of time and money. Most pharmacies will train you. You don't need one to be a pharm tech. In Illinois, all you need is a high school diploma. I don't know NY rules.
Pharmacies will pay you more if you are certified, not if you have a diploma. Starting pay for an uncertified, no experience tech is $8-$9 per hour, and starting pay for certified, no experience tech is $10-$11 per hour. I have never heard of a Pharm tech making more than $15 per hour. Buy a PTCB review book and teach yourself and get a job at a local pharmacy.
Also, no one takes a diploma from an online school seriously.
