talking to the store manager won't help you.....but it will piss off the pharmacist that will be hiring you. The store manager is not our boss. We answer to a corporate pharmacy honcho. We are an autonomous business that is merely located in the store.

My suggestion is to apply according to store procedures. After you have applied, then you can drop off a well-written resume and speak briefly with the pharmacist.

Three paragraphs

1 - saying why you're writing ie. applying for a job and which one
2 - why you're a suitable candidate
3 - thanking them for reading the letter

don't forget salutation and signing.

Possibly; but no medical license is accepted carte blanche in foreign countries. Even as a pharmacist, you might need to re-test, take the degree over, take more classes, etc. Drugs are not the same in foreign countries either, so you would need to learn the new ones.

Find out the requirements to become a pharmacy tech in your state. Google "[your state] state board of pharmacy". It may be that you do need to be certified or have taken pharmacy tech courses.

Have you been talking to the store managers? If not, do so. The pharmacists don't do the hiring and of course they want techs with experience. Honestly, you can easily get a tech job without experience.

From my knowledge all you need for the job is to be a high school grad and pass the background check and drug test. I know that most people just say to apply on the company website for a job but when I wanted to get a job as a pharmacy tech about 2 years ago I actually talked to the pharmacy manager first and then after talking to her in person she told me to apply and I got the job. Most pharmacies need good and reliable people to work so it might help to be a little bit old fashion and try to just talk first because applications don't always allow you to stand out. The old people are probably grandfathered into the old regulations. A new position will probably be started in Florida, pharmacy cashier. That is how they will get around the regulations.
