I know this isn't what you want to hear, but you're really the only one that can make this decision and know what's best.

I would suggest thinking about what is most important to you in life. Do you want a family? Do you want money? Do you want to do something you really love?

You should think about all of those questions. I think the most important thing, though, is not regretting your choice. It sounds like you're very interested in all of them, so all should be a good choice. Good luck.

You should pursue a career that is intellectually-stimulating. The most significant "benefit" in an ideal career is that it can continuously feed your academic curiosity. I think you should identify first what field of study interests you the most - is it economics/politics or is it something in human biology? If you decide that it is human biology, my advice would be to completely scratch out pharmacy and decide between medicine or an academic/research career in a specific field of human biology. The way to decide on what field interests you is to take more biology classes, many more classes. Take biochem, microbio, neurobio, and physiology to help you with that decision. I'd recommend you take microbio and neurobio as early as possible.
The reason I'm saying this is because you describe medicine as a "fascinating field of study" yet have not mentioned anything about considering an academic/research career path.

All of your mentioned career choices will allow you to live at least comfortably, so that is why you should base your decision on what will stimulate you the most, intellectually.

and kindness. This scholarship will make it easier for me to attend college. My parents were worried about the parent PLUS loan that I was offered from my college but with the help of this scholarship, I will be able to reduce the amount of money from the loan.

I am going to study Chemistry at University of --------------. Chemistry will prepare me to go to medical school, where I am going to study Pharmacy in order to be a Pharmacist. I also plan to be active in community service. My goal is to volunteer somewhere where I can help kids with disabilities and encourage them to realize their true potentials. I am looking forward to studying Chemistry at -------------- and meeting new students from many different countries.

This year, I have accomplished a lot of things. I received an honorable mention from the Maryland governor as a Maryland Distinguished Scholar and I also received the Merit Scholastic Award for earning a cumulative grade point average within the top five percent of my graduating class. I am also very proud of my leadership role as a concertmistress in my school orchestra. My responsibilities as a leader in this role were to assist anyone who was having difficulty playing music and help them improve their playing skills. I was satisfied and gratified to see them getting better from my help.

Once again I wanted to thank you for your wonderful generosity and I am very excited to continue my education at ----------- with the help of this scholarship.
