You can get reliable information about pharmacy from the website of the AACP that is the official national organzation which coordinates info about all accredited US colleges of pharmacy.

Pharmacy is a great career and extremely well paid. But it is also very competitive to become a pharm student. Unless you are totally dedicated to this career, you are unlikely to be admitted to the college of pharm. Our local state school had over 1200 well-qualified apps last spring for 90 seats, according to an article in the paper. That is equivalent to the acceptance rate at Harvard or MIT.

So, check out the AACP site and then make up your mind,. But you must dedicate yourself 100% to the program or you will not make it.
