How do you prevent RSI's caused by Xbox controllers?

We Answered:

In my opinion it's about as good as it gets. I'm sure they've already spent a few million on developing the current design. If you play enough games I don't see any way possible to completely prevent RSI's it comes with the fun.

Ac joint recovery...?

We Answered:

For a slammed shoulder you shouldn't have had to do so much p.t. I have gone the route of those stupid bands and what these people are forgetting is that you are already in pain. By doing what they say to do is only making your pain worse, any work you do to strengthen a muscle is making it pinch tighter. You have to get the muscle released before you do anything else. Here is how to to that:
Back:
Place your left hand on your left knee. Place your right hand over your left shoulder and with your fingertips find the muscle next to your spine. Press on it and hold. Relax, take a deep breath and exhale and don’t tense up any part of your body. After about 30 seconds there should be a release happening and when it does slowly lower yourself forward onto your right leg. If you can lean over the outside edge of your leg it will be better for your release. Continue holding for a total of one minute. Then release but rest your body there for one minute longer. Then reverse and do the right side.

Should I get shoulder surgery?

We Answered:

Yeah, I am a D1 college lacrosse player and I have been playing with a torn shoulder since my sophomore year in high school. Its not really a big deal. I just cant afford to be in a sling for an extended period of time and it doesn't really affect my performance at all. Sure, my shoulder pops out a couple of times every year and it always is very sore for a couple of days after it pops out, but I can live with it. The question is for you is if it really bothers you that much, if it is too loose, if you can afford the time for recovery. If I were you, I wouldnt get it unless you definitely think it is necessary.

Kinesiology & Physical Therapy- same thing?

We Answered:

Kinesiology is one basis from which physical therapy is derived. Yet, kinesiology and physical therapy are not the same thing. While both understand movement and biomechanics, PTs have a deeper understanding of the disease model process and assessment and diagnostic triage.

...Kinesiology is often in what students major before they go to physical therapy school. It will give you a basic background in movement and biomechanics.

Physical Therapy School and the GRE?

We Answered:

I believe it depends on the college. Some colleges do not require GRES. Apply to a few schools. Here is a list of the pre reqs for the accred schools.
