Let me answer a few of your questions. Getting an AAS in PTA, actually takes longer than going to a DPT program directly. Non of the courses transfer. PTA is not a stepping stone to PT. I have worked with a few PT who were PTA first however. My next suggestion is to not do your BS in bio. There are too many difficult courses that are not relevant. Look at kinesiology, health or rehab science, or exercise science. Most PT programs require a BS degree. There are some accelerated PT programs that are considered 3 plus 3 programs which you do not need a BS.I am a PT
