Does Physical therapy disqualify you from joining the coast guard?

We Answered:

If you are currently undergoing physical therapy, you might find that a hinderance. If you've had, or are expected to make a full recovery from physical therapy, then no, it should not be a problem

Vanessa Said:

What colleges are known for Physical therapy?

We Answered:

Here's a great site: http://physicaltherapy.about.com/od/care…

It gives you known physical therapy schools in every state.

Adrian Said:

Do they have physical therapy in the coast guard?

We Answered:

The Coast Guard relies on other military medical facilities for their personnel. They do have doctors and hospital corpsman to take care of the people on ships, but in general they do not put funding into medical treatment facilities or hospitals.

Daniel Said:

where can i find east coast colleges with a pre-physical therapy?

We Answered:

Clemson University offers Pre-rehabilitational health or something like that.

You can do a health science major somewhere then go to PT school, that's what my friend is doing.

Also, be forewarned: Pensacola Christian College has a PT major--they are NOT accredited so don't even consider (if you were)! They're like a worse Bob Jones University!

Good luck!
