Cheryl Said:

Does anyone know of any good colleges where you can major in physical therapy and minor in dance?

We Answered:

Remember that physical therapy is a graduate degree, therefore, you can major or minor in dance as an undergradate and then apply to a graduate school for PT school. Just be aware that there are prerequisite courses for PT that you will have to complete in your undergraduate education. Since this involves a lot of science, I'd suggest majoring in kinesiology, health care sciences, biology, etc and minoring in dance.

Once you've met the requirements for a PT program, you can apply to an accredited PT school. You can get a list of all accredited PT programs at www.apta.org

Julia Said:

What are the colleges in/ around the Philadelphia area that offer a physical therapy major, and a dance minor?

We Answered:

As a PT, I am not sure of dance minors but here are the schools that are accredited to offer PT. PT is a graduate degreee so a minor really is not an issue. You can get a bs in anything as long as you get the proper pre reqs. I have attached the links from the national PT association
