Colleges That Offer Physical Therapy
Jessica Said:
What is a good cheap College that offers Physical therapy? We Answered:
College is not about the price tag it is about the experience you get while bieng there. If you are looking for an grad program that does a PT, pick one that fits you the best. Ask the faculty at the college you want to go to about the program and make it clear what your goals are about getting the most out of a PT program. Grad programs require that you meet the pre-reqs before getting in and require time and work to do. Pick a school that you like and do your research and make sure they meet your specs.Undergrad programs for PT emulate those of the grad schools, if you are doing undergrad, pick a school that you like and do pursue a degree program that meets your specs, health based programs include Biology and Chemistry (major/minor)
The government, if you are in need will subsidize loans for you to fund your education. There are federal loan programs for those in need that meet the financial requirements for this type of funding, regardless of credit. Pell grants and other state grants are the same, but they do not have to be repaied. If you choose a private university they have plenty of money to offer to those in need, through thier grant programs. Private loans are another option but depend on credit. (undergrad)
The temptation to this is that you will want to spend the money on something else other than education when it comes it, if you get approved for the government money. Spend it on tuition and education only. I've seen to many students go down the wrong path doing this. (undergrad)
Grad programs (PhD and DPT) offer programs such as assistantships and tuition waivers, depending upon the school. Talk to the admissions and graduate department to figure what fits your needs.
You would be suprised with the amount of money private schools have, check them out. I went to a private under grad and totaled from all the charges over $122,880 in charges but because I came from a single family and my mother was disabled, I only went to a private undergrad for less than $38,000.

You can go to any college you want for undergrad and then to to a graduate program. You can do a 3 plus 3 program. You would start at a college. and at the end of the third you would start in the PT program as long as you had the minimum required qpa.
You need to volunteer for most PT programs. Speak to the therapists at the facility that you volunteer as they know the local or regional programs.
visit the programs and see where you feel comfortable.
Best wishes
