What kind of gift should I give to a Doctorate Physical Therapist Grad?

We Answered:

If you want to think outside the box i would suggest giving a personalized bobblehead made from photo.

Kenneth Said:

What is the best way to get a doctorate in Physical Therapy with a GPA lower than 3.0?

We Answered:

Unfortunately, almost all PT schools require a minimum GPA of 3.0...in some cases 3.2. You can, however, visit the APTA website to obtain a list of accredited schools. You can then visit their website to see what their admission requirements are. Good luck!

Derrick Said:

How many years of schooling does it take to earn a doctorate in Physical therapy?

We Answered:

The PT program is typically three years. If you entered a direct admit program, you could do it in 6 years, but most programs are at least 7 years as long as you complete your bs in 4 years.

Kathryn Said:

My sister is graduating this week with her Doctorate of Physical Therapy. What would be a good gift for her?

We Answered:

It depends on where she is going to work. A nice stethoscope, large goniometer would be nice. Also an engraved clipboard.

Billy Said:

What's the difference between a Masters and a doctorate of Physical Therapy?

We Answered:

The DPT program already is dominant with about 95% of programs in the US resulting in this degree. Academically and clinically, the DPT has much more emphasis on differential diagnosis, pharmacology, radiology, etc that is designed to better prepare students for working in direct access environments so they will understand when to refer patients to physicians. The APTAs vision is that all programs will be DPT by 2020.
