Ruby Said:

what is a state surveyor looking for?

We Answered:

they might ask a few basic questions. they are just there to make sure that 1 you are doing your job correctly, or 2 that the pt. is recieving the prescribed treatment for the prescribed amount of time. just do what you would normally do, unless you are a slacker.

Can I get career info from Physical Therapy Assistants?

We Answered:

Even though I'm not a pta, I have heard that it's supposed to be quite a physical job as well as emotionally taxing albeit very rewarding at being able to help increase one's quality of life. Prospective students are usually required to have taken physics in addition to other science courses such as anatomy and physiology (Not 'human anatomy' as that doesn't transfer) and chemistry. Each pta program may have different prereq's.

I like home health care and working with veterans;?

We Answered:

Veteran's hospitals and Veteran's nursing homes everywhere need good nursing assistants. They pay well, have excellent benefits and will help you financially with school if you go into the nursing field. Consider it but be ready to work hard. Good luck

Would also be 60.

Clyde Said:

how would home health care be affected by obama's health care reform?

We Answered:

Medicare cuts are coming - according to Obama. You have health issues so you aren't worth as much.

Like other countries, Obama-care would work great if you are healthy and young. If you have problems, you're screwed!
