A lawyer may get 1/3 but you have to protect your interest and since you are uneducated about how insurance and the law works you would be up against dealing with an insurance claims adjuster who IS educated about how it works.So get an attorney and let him deal with it. By the way, I work with this all day long. Many people feel a need to run their bills way, way up. They think the more bills they have the bigger the settlement. Let me tell you, once you get an attorney the insurance company will immediately turn it over to their attorney. Their attorney will have you sign a waiver and have full access to your medical from the day you were born. So be honest and truthful. get the treatment you need and don't be greedy. You'll see a speeder, more fruitful end. And if you get deposed, tell the truth about your medical history because if you lie it will come out at trial.

The NPTE scale score is an arithmetic conversion of raw scores to a scale that ranges from 200 to 800. The minimum passing scaled score is 600. The number of questions that have to be answered correctly to achieve this score can change from form to form.Effective July 1996, all jurisdiction licensing authorities adopted the same criterion-referenced passing score for the NPTE. Therefore, it does not matter if you want to be licensed in CA or NJ, the minimum score is 600.
