You can receive any BS...just as long as you've met the prerequisite courses required by the program to which you are hoping to apply. So for time sake, you may wish to choose a major that encompasses all these prerequisite courses...biology is an obvious one...yet, some schools have a "health sciences" degree...it's like pre-med, it doesn't really mean anything unless you complete the professional phase of the program. Any school that maintains regular accredidation can be considered a "good school" as schools are certified on the national level.If you are completing a DPT program and you complete your BS in 4 years, you can expect up to 3 years in the PT program. MS might be a year less...depending on the structure of the program. On average, most programs can be completed in 6-7 years total (from fresman to graduate)
