Physical Therapy Ri

Patrick Said:

Can someone refer me to a Physical Therapist at South County Hospital in Wakefield, RI?

We Answered:

It is not likely to find a physical therapist who believes/uses magnetic therapy. PT is a very scientifically driven field. We used to use dynawave, but that modality was debunked years ago. There is currently no reliable evidence to support the use of magnets in PT.

I'm sure there are PTs out there who use this, but I wouldn't look in the mainstream medical community...I look for someone who is employed by an alternative practice such as a holistic healing center, a chiropractor's office, an accupuncturist, etc.

My wrist feels torn and tingly ,it hurts what is wrong?

We Answered:

oh boy, umm there are many thing that could be wrong but they ALL require seeing a doctor, so either way, i recommend making an appointment asap.
ok, from what you've said here are my best guesses,
1. infection/parasite, you said you had surgery and then went on vacation, a new climate may have a bacteria that your body may not be ready to fight off especially after recent surgery.
2. Sprain, you said you went water skiing... all that needs to be said.
3. The tendons or muscles may have started to heal in correctly, you said the tendons were torn and you didn't do the physical therapy.
again, you need to see a doctor asap.
if that means having it examined at the ER, why not? whats the worst that could happen?
good luck, and don't be frightened by the possibilities.
