Physical Therapy San Antonio

Elsie Said:

What's wrong with me (mentally)?

We Answered:

I am the exact same way but my problem is that I am 18 and an adult. What I had to make myself start doing was just call the places and go to place even though I was afraid. My mother told me to think about ti before and come up with a script for you to say. Like already know what you want to say and how you want to say it before. I understand how you because I am at that point where life is scary but once you get used to new things, they will get better. It sounds like you need to talk to your parents about this problem because if you stay with your anxiety it can get much worse. I am lucky to have my mother who is being very patient with me and getting me the help I need and that is what you need. A Therapist would be wonderful to help you find to her way to cope with your anxieties and be able to become more independent but the first step is making yourself no matter how scary it is. Please let me know if you have more questions and email me anytime if you just want to talk. Like I said I know what your going through but remember you don't have to force yourself out into the world all at once. Gradual is better because it will help adjust you change easier than just forcing it.

Bobby Said:

what should i do? i dont like the college im at?

We Answered:

College should feel like your home away from home. The college you are at should make you feel completely comfortable and if you don't get that feeling--maybe you should look at transferring. But before you do transfer, make sure you go to the schools you are looking at transferring to. Maybe visit some of the colleges that your friends go to and see why they love it so much. Maybe you would love it too.

If you have been in San Antonio for two years and you are still unhappy I would seriously consider transferring. College is supposed to be some of the best years of your life and if you aren't happy where you are at--then there is no harm in looking other places.

Just talk to college representatives from other colleges and tell them your situation. Usually they will sit and talk with you and tell you why their college might be a better fit for you. Then you can decide for yourself where you think you would be happiest.

Hope this helps! And good luck!
