Physical Therapy Schools In Minnesota

Patrick Said:

Is anyone a PT?

We Answered:

Start looking at what PT schools to which you hope to apply. They may or may not require your BS prior to admission. If they do, concentrate on a major at WSU that will encompass the prerequisite courses for the PT program...biology or exercise physiology are pretty safe bets. In the long run, it doesn't matter what your major is in...as long as you have met the requirements for the PT school you plan on attending.

Start by going to the apta website at www.apta.org to get a list of accredited schools...go to the websites of those schools and figure out :
1. Do you need to complete your BS prior to admission?
2. What are the prerequisite courses required for admission.

Good luck

Amber Said:

I am very confused about college, will somebody help me?

We Answered:

Colleges do offer Physical Therapy. Most likely you will have to go to a medical school though. You just have to do some research.

Can anyone tell me about Cal State Long Beach?

We Answered:

First of all I think LBSU(CSULB) is getting more academic. When I enrolled I was accepted with a 2.8 GPA and 1050 SAT. The president at the time had a presidental scholars program that brought a lot of A students to the campus. My brother applied 5 years later with the same GPA and SAT scores as me and he was denied. The business program is pretty good, music program just got a hefty donation and they're good, engineering is good. I ran track for LBSU and was around Kinesiology students a lot, the sense I got was that its a decent program, facilites are avarage. There are plans to build a whole new facility but who knows when that will get done. The students got out what the put in, some just went through the motions, others had motivation and they did very well. L.A. is a good place to be if you want to work on athletes as a profession, lots of them there. LBSU baseball is really good and you'll be around that in your program. I'm from Norcal and I found Long Beach/seal beach/lakewood to be excellent. I lived in so so areas and really nice areas down there, but you can't beat the sun, palm trees and the beach, I plan on moving back soon. Surfing is big, I had a roomate who got up a 4 every morning to surf before class. The smog isn't as bad in LB, but there are some pretty hazy days. I'm biased, but I say Long Beach all the way.
