Physical Therapy Schools In Nc

Christian Said:

I live in NC I was involved in a car accident where i was hit from behind and suffered a neck injury.?

We Answered:

It depends on the policy limits of the other driver. If the policy limit is $50,000, I would settle without a lawyer for that amount. Your insurance company would sue the other drivers insurance for what they paid out and that leaves 20,000 left. They should pay for your lost wages. And 7,000 isn't much for pain and suffering for your injuries, but that what would be left unless their policy limit is higher then 50,000 for bodily injury per person. If you want more, you'll have to sue the other driver yourself. If they don't have enough liability coverage, you'll have to sue the other driver yourself.

But, of the list above, Med asst - no. not needed in hospitals and pay is low.
Dental Hygienist make very good money but I though was more than 2 yrs. They are in high demand and can make up to $1500 a week working for themselves with various dentist.
Not dental assistant, but hygienist.
The rest are pretty equal.

I am thinking about becoming a massage therapist?

We Answered:

Well, here's a listing of massage schools in NC: http://www.massageregister.com/MassageTh…

As for where to work, I know of four options: a spa, a higher-end hair salon, an alternative medicine clinic (depending on the type of massage), and going into business for yourself. I'm afraid I don't know a great deal about any of them.

Good luck!

What test should a Doctor run to rule out fibromyalgia?

We Answered:

Let me start by saying it's always important for your doctor to know your medical background, so I do think you need to be open about your past. Only your doctor would know if there is a connection to your present problems or not. Your doctor is there to help you not judge you.

All of the tests you have asked about are very similar. They aren't new so it's hard to understand why your doctor has never heard of them.

Arthrography uses a special form of x-ray called fluoroscopy and a contrast material to assess the function of joints, evaluate cartilage, ligament and tendon problems.
MRI Arthrography is basically the same but instead of x-ray an MRI is done.
Discogram is an enhanced CT of the disks in the back using dye to observe structural changes in each disk to determine if it's causing the pain.
Epiduragraphy is a x-ray visualization of the epidural space.
Facet & nerve injections are a procedure that identifies the source of irritation in the joints of the spine. Steroids are injected which anesthetize the joints and block the pain.
Myelogram uses dye and x-rays or CT to see the nerve roots and spinal cord.

If your medications aren't helping even though the dose has been increased, then maybe you should consider seeing a doctor in a larger city who has had more experience with this problem. You are much too young to feel like this. Good luck.
