Wawa's answer is not entirely accurate....The physical therapy degree is now a minimum of a master's degree, but most programs are now doctorate level degree. It now takes 6-7 years to complete.
Both nursing and PT are great careers with opportunities for advancement in both.
What I love about physical therapy is meeting so many people and getting to know them much more closely than most other health care professions. Also, I like to problem solve and investigate things...so this career suits me well.
