Physical Therapy Schools Online

Sara Said:

thinking to apply to physical therapy school, do i need to take a gre subject test?

We Answered:

you DO NOT need to take the subject test. However, if you take it and get a good score, make sure to report the scores to the schools you are applying to, it might boost the chances of getting a funding.

Martha Said:

Online schooling is it any good?

We Answered:

One cannot complete online education for either the physical therapy or physical therapy assistant degree. The best you can do online is a PT tech certification (a $9-$11 an hour job).

Dustin Said:

Are there any schools in California that offers a bachelors in physical therapy. I can only find masters.?

We Answered:

Most likely not. You may want to major in a science such as biology and chemistry and then go onto your masters. For instance, in order to be a dentist you do not declare your undergrad major like dentistry. You would chose a science major and then go onto Dental School. California State University Northridge has a great physical therapy progam.

Greg Said:

Does making a D in english ruin my chances of getting into physical therapy school?

We Answered:

If it is a prerequisite for the program to which you hope to apply, then yes, it will not meet the minimum standard.

For most schools, it is not a prerequisite...however, I cannot imagine that this was good for your GPA. If you are not pulling at least a 3.0 (but preferrably 3.5), you will not be able to attend most PT schools.

If this is pulling down your GPA, I would re-take it.

Marvin Said:

wich online school and are they as good as campus schools?

We Answered:

Don't bother. You do not need a Certificate to become an aide. For a 10 dollar an hour job, I don't think it's worth it.
However, if you wish to become a physical therapy ASSISTANT, this requires a two year degree, and there are no accredited online programs for this.

Joshua Said:

Is there a Physical Therapy school in Minneapolis?

We Answered:

Here are all the programs in Minnesota

Minnesota
College of St Catherine (A2, A4, D6, E5, F1, PR)
College of St Scholastica (D6, F1, PR)
Mayo School of Health Sciences (A4, D6, F1, PR)
University of Minnesota (A4, D6, F1, PU)

There are no accredited online PT schools other than a modified online program at St. Augustine in FL that requires attendance on campus everyother weekend.
