Not sure where you are from but in the UK most occupational therapists leave university and are able to walk straight into a job whereas physio's are struggling with their graduate employment. Physio's just work with the physical side of getting people back to good health whereas OT's are more holistic :-)

I would give her a little time to work it out by herself first. My daughter was walking at 9 months, my 2nd child was a very sickly baby and didn't walk until he was almost 18 months and my third child was the same.
Most baby books give you time frames of what your baby should be doing at this age and that age and I know I spent many sleepless nights worrying about whether my own children where at the right levels ~ in the end your child will develop at her own rate. You sound like a wonderful Mum who spends plenty of quality time with her daughter and thats the best thing you can give!
Once she is on her tummy I would put her toys just out of reach to encourage her to move forward on her own, if you honestly feel that she still isn't moving moving forward in her progress after a couple more months I would speak to a paediatrician. They will be able to check her progress and alleviate any of your concerns.

It is illegal to audio record a person without his permission. Therefore, even if you kept his image out of the video, you would be breaking the law. It is not illegal to video tape (without audio) a person without his consent. However, if you want to have a good relationship with the PT, I would not advise doing that.

There could be a number of reasons why he is not comfortable being recorded. Don't worry about him and his past. It is not your business. If he does not feel comfortable treating your mother while being recorded and wants to end the session, there is nothing you can do, it is not illegal.

You may ask to see another physical therapist who may allow you to video tape your mother's sessions. That is probably the best course of action. Try speaking with the director of the home care company - explain your situation - and request to change PTs to one who may be comfortable with video recording.
