Tamara Said:

Questions on becoming a physical therapy?

We Answered:

If you are an undergraduate, there are no other special applications processes you need to make at this time unless you enrolled in a direct admit program (which none of your schools offer, so don't worry about it). It won't be until you near completion of your BS degree that you will begin to apply to both grad school and the PT program (sometimes applying to the PT program automatically includes applying to graduate school, sometimes you have to do it separately).

At this time, you can be undeclared as your major, but start investigating what major will make sense for the grad schools you hope to attend. Most students major in something such as kinesiology or exercise science, but some schools do offer a "pre-PT" BS degree. My advise is to choose a major you like, choose one that will allow you to get the prerequisite courses you need without taking a lot of extra courses you don't and if possible, one that will also mean something in case you are not accepted into the PT program.

As another posted, you are likely to start off taking mostly gen eds, but will then quickly move on to your prerequisite and major courses.

Albert Said:

why did my 7year son old get cancer at such aa young age?

We Answered:

I am a recent blood cancer survivor (non-Hodgkins lymphoma) and have since started working for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society as a public speaker to students. Blood cancer has not been linked to any particular outside influence...in fact, we can't explain why a healthy cell goes rogue. The mold could have caused additional non-related symptoms.
