Physical Therapy for nerve damage? Dog is lame, quickly losing muscle tone?

We Answered:

...swimming is the way to go... you might have to build a swim-tank for the pooch...several sheets of ply-wood, deep enough to have the dog swim in a forward direction... at the head of the swim tank, a water jet set up to give the dog a swimming challenge... it's easy to build... just the water jet is "your " challenge to make it work.

[please read] Can you tell me some good colleges in Queens, NY...?

We Answered:

Here in the United States, dentistry and rheumatology are professional programs (i.e. you cannot study those fields in regular college). You must finish undergraduate college first before you can apply to dental or medical school to study those fields.

You can study physical therapy, optometry, and radiology in regular undergraduate colleges though.

St. John's University here in Queens offers an undergraduate program in Radiography: http://www.stjohns.edu/academics/undergr…

LaGuardia Community College offers an associates program for those who want to become Physical Therapy Assistants. As far as I'm aware there are no optometry programs in the colleges in Queens.

Hope this helps.

What subjects do i need to take in high school to become a physical therapist?

We Answered:

you will have to complete a PT program, many colleges have an all inclusive program that allows you to do the undergrad and grad work in the same school...high school subjects won't really matter, when you are an undergrad you will take a lot of anatomy and physiology courses...you might want to look in manhattan and brooklyn as well as queens...the only program i know of in queens is at st. john's university...also look into programs for sports medicine...syracuse has a very good one...
