check your state PT board, even online, you'll get quite a few answers there
if you're looking to get into the field...GO FOR IT!!!!

Full time homecare therapist make about the same as other PT. But many PT work per diem in home care and have no benifits so the visit rate is high. But that rate does not include travel time, paperwork time (which is huge). You do not get paid if they cancel or are not home. You get no vacation or sick time. You have to pay for your own heath care. Opening a case take about 2 hours plus paperwork and you get a set fee. I did it for awhile and I loved it but it was not worth the stress. If you are full time, you have to go where they tell you and often times it is in the worst neighbor hoods because non of the part time people/per diem staff will go.www.apta.org
