Career As A Physiotherapist
Elizabeth Said:
What is it really like working as a physiotherapist? We Answered:
It is a very rewarding job but it is also hard work. You need patience and be a caring person. I worked in a uni where physios and occupational therapists were training and in my job now I am in contact with physios. The students that I have spoken to love it and students who have graduated are glad that they did the courseFrances Said:
As a newly qualified Physiotherapist, would I have greater prospects if I emigrated to Australia? We Answered:
I think that both the pay and the cost of living is lower than here. A nephew went to work in Queensland last year. Although he is an Australian national and fully qualified he found his salary was lower than expected, and although the cost of living was also lower, they couldn't manage on his salary and his wife had to go out to work in order to pay their housing costs. On the other hand, a friend went a couple of years ago, she worked for a parcel company quickly got permanent residency and is doing very well. Just what you make of it I suppose
I still think it is a land of opportunity.
