Chiropractor Vs Physiotherapist
Phyllis Said:
Chiropractors vs Physiotherapists?We Answered:
the difference lies in the way they treat a problemChiropractors use primarily spinal manipulation, this involves therapeutic intervention performed on synovial joints in the spinal column.
Physiotherapists generally use exercises and other physical treatments.Physios provide services to individuals and populations to develop, maintain and restore maximum movement and functional ability throughout the lifespan. This includes providing services in circumstances where movement and function are threatened by aging, injury, disease or environmental factors.
in conclusion both or either could be used to treat your chronic back and neck pain built up for years due to being stuck harder than a piece of gum to an office chair.

Physio's tend to work mainly with musculature while a chiro will work on the bone alignment and pick more about that than a physio. I've used a chiro extensively for my tb who had a lot of back problems and was very impressed with how she worked. Ask around for a recommendation for a good one and try it. My chiro charges £37 for a visit and I've seen her spend an hour and a half working on my boy. Some chiro's are up to £60 or so depending on who you get, but it's worth a try before x-rays.Personally I would always call my chiro before my vet if I think there's something going on in my horses back as they are the specialist in horse backs however I have used my chiro for years and completely trust her, if I didn't have a good, regular person I used then I would go with a vet check as well.
I have to say he sounds like there is something more than just being cold backed going on with him.
