The fact that this article is found in the Guardian - that liberal, left-wing, sandal-wearing flag-ship - should suggest that the matter is not being ignored by the "left". In fact,in my experience it is often the "left" who are most sensitive to such issues and dynamics at work within minority communities. The reactionary right has a simple-minded obsession with immigrants as the enemies of white Britain and British jobs: to those who think more carefully about immigration issues (in short, Guardian-readers), it is clear that there is a complex network of less obvious relationships at work within and between minority communities.

You also omit the last paragraph of the article here, which makes it clear where the most left-wing political party in Britain stands: "Lynne Featherstone, the Liberal Democrat MP for Hornsey and Wood Green, said: "Caste discrimination, like other forms of discrimination, needs to be outlawed. This is the evidence that will prove the case for its inclusion in the equality bill.""

You could be dealing with a form of arthritis (an example only but there are some forms of arthritis that affect young adults), but I would recommend getting an opinion from an orthopedic surgeon that specializes in knee issues to see what they think could be going on.

Going to an orthopedic surgeon does not necessarily mean that you will need surgery but they might be able to help you figure out what could be going on.
