Marc Said:

How do i become a physiotherapist in Australia?

We Answered:

First of all - Physiotherapy has the same academic requirements as medicine in Australia - in Adelaide for instance, the UAI to get into physio is HIGHER then medicine. So dropping out of school will result in you NOT have any chance in $%%^ of getting into this career. Ask the question - if I drop out of school what do I have to do to get into medicine - this is the answer you are looking for,.

How long does it take to become a physiotherapist?

We Answered:

Hey, I'm not a pt, but considering pursuing it for a day or two...then I remembered that I don't like touching people. I know that in the states its require a graduate degree, but remember reading that it varies, quite vastly, from country to country. Here's a link to wikipedia, if you trust it. I believe that this is where I read the information on educational requirements for physiotherapy.

How do I become a Physiotherapist?

We Answered:

contact some universities in your area, because sometimes they have different courses that lead to the same professional qualification. for example - some do a Bachelor of Physiotherapy, while others do a Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Health which majors in Physiotherapy. If you have a school guidance officer - they would be able to advise you on courses to do, but usually english, maths and science subjects. Universities will often have their entry criteria for a course on their website, so check it out as well. lastly - if you don't get into Physiotherapy right out of high school - don't give up.
