i am a physiotherapist from india.i hav applied for my permanent residency in canada.?We Answered:
First you will have to have your education assessed by Cdn officials to make sure you can be licensed in Canada for your profession, we do need physiotherapists. The cheapest cost of living in Canada is in the maritimes, google Halifax and St Johns. Coming from India you may find the climate difficult to adjust to though.
BC has a huge Indian population, but the cost of living is higher. I would suggest investigating the Southern Interior of BC where summer are very warm and winters are generally not as severe as in the rest of Canada, with the exception of Vancouver and BC coastal areas which have even milder winters but with more rain.
It can take a year or so to adjust to very cold winters elsewhere , I know this from personal experience and never did adjust to the frigid siberian temperatures in Northern China even though I have lived far North in Canada for 4 years. I still literally froze and suffered the entire winter in Northern China, for 2 years, then said never again and moved to the south
