First, your health care isn't "free." Money doesn't grow on trees; someone is always footing the bill, even if it's not you. Second, the reason the private hospitals cost a fortune is due in part to the fact that your government pays for health care. That drives up the cost of private alternatives. Third, my prescriptions cost $4/month at Wal-Mart. Fourth, yes, we pay to see a doctor, just like we pay to eat, wear clothes, watch TV, and use water and heat. I know, how crazy that we might be expected to pay for what we use! What kind of strange system is this?!?!?! Fifth, we have Medicare and public restrooms and free (taxpayer funded) public education.
