Alice Said:
i want to be a physiotherapist's assistant. help?We Answered:
In the US, PTA programs are 2 years. There are no pre reqs in the sense of college. In hs, they are looking for some math and some science. Average gpa is 85 and above. I live in NY. If you go to a suny cc, the tuition is around 2,000 a semesters so for the 2 years it is less than 9,000 dollars for the program. You need volunteer hours in a PT clinic. My niece just started the program and need 45 hours. Salaries are livable.I do not know anything about PTA in CA but I would call the colleges.

can i claim compensation?We Answered:
You don't say where the injury occured. Scotland, England and Wales, Northern Ireland, and the Republic of Ireland have different legal systems and processes for personal injury claims. While there's no question of an injury, has there been negligence? How did the training exercise injury happen? For example, was there some faulty equipment or were you following the unwise/incorrect instructions of a trainer employed by the gym? You don't have a claim if you don't have blame. Read this http://www.injury-compensation.ie/haveaclaim/
This is a sports injury - which means that there was a certain level of consent involved and therefore an acceptance of certain risks. So the second thing you need to consider is contributory negligence. Read this http://www.injury-compensation.ie/what-is-contributory-negligence/
