The only reason that I can think of is b'cos your bachelor degree is assessed as not equivalent to Australian bachelor degree, possibly due to your uni/institute accreditation. I might be wrong though. You might want to ask them directly by e-mailing them at applicationstatus@uq.edu.au and dun forget to write your details.

The Masters degree in Australian universities are fully accredited and therefore the recognition is the same everywhere.

As a life long businessman I have always found word of mouth to be the best form of advertising. Hand your existing clients a card saying $10.00 off the first massage on the front and the existing clients name written on the back. then give the referring client either a discount on their next massage or refer 5 get one free type of thing.
If you are going into a niche such as women only then you need to emphasize this difference to your clients. Why you feel this is important and how it sets you apart. I am just thinking off the top of my head here but perhaps something along the lines of making your business a haven away from the outside hassles and a place to relax and unwind in a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. Encourage clients to stop in or to visit the waiting area just to share a cup of tea (herbal) use this as your strength and you will prosper as word spreads.

A good place to look would be at TAFE in your area under animal husbandry you are an assistant to the vet and look after animals.
Work experience at the RSPCA they love having helpers to help clean out the cages and stuff.
Yout VET co ordinator should be able to help you out or see the school counsellor to see if they can help out.
Work experience at the vet's office is always interesting as well try all the vets in your area.
