Can you do a double major bachelor's in speech therapy and English?Eddie Said:
How can i write a personal statement detailed towards Speech Therapy and Nursing? We Answered:
Because you're applying for two courses it's advised that you don't specifically mention either of the courses. Course leaders sometimes take the view that if a person is undecided in their career choice they may not be the most commited of students. Particularly in nursing they can be funny if you aren't focused solely on nursing. What you need to do is identify & focus on the common themes and skills that are relevant to your choices. The UCAS site has some good advice. http://www.ucas.ac.uk/students/applying/…I'm a student nurse myself & I used this site to help me with my personal statement. There's a section in the forum. http://www.studentnurse.org.uk/ A lot of the attributes that are good for nursing can be applied to speech therapy too so it's worthwhile you taking a look.
