TAKE THE KIDS NOW!!! and don't bring them back i would totally sue for complete custody and only supervised visits. if she honestly wants to be there mom tell her she can make the effort to see them herself. you aren't taking her place you are making a new place for yourself in these kids lives and honestly they NEED you. kids need stability. have them call you by your first name and not mom once they are old enough. unless this woman completely steps down and wants nothing to do with them and then even then i would still say first name. but you should be fulfilling all the roles of a parent because they need a mother figure and make sure you honestly love them like they where your own. what they call you reminds them that even though you are their mom in every way possible, you still respect their mom enough to not take her title and i be they love you more than her anyway so let her have the title and you get everything else. as for the medical things i know you can file once you and your boyfriend have sole custody but in the meantime call DHR and work it out with them but always put the kids first, they can't fend for themselves and are very dependent on you and their dad right now
