Mae Said:

I'm 25 and infatuated with a man who is 62...thoughts?

We Answered:

Okay...I'll try and give some insight. It sounds like you have a classic case of transference involving the care-giver - patient relationship. You may want to talk to a staff member you trust and ask about the phenomenon.

Sometimes those feelings can be confusing. I strongly suggest that you discuss this with someone that you trust, and maybe arrange for this man to see a different therapist. It sounds to me like you are loosing objectivety and perspective. It may change your interpretation of his progress. However, since you are aware of these feelings perhaps you can work through them. Again, talk to someone, people in your profession face this from time to time.

Annette Said:

What political issue are people the biggest hypocrites about?

We Answered:

The role of government. Both cons and libs preach against the government micromanaging our lives yet both support different ways of government encroachment on our social and economic liberties.

Jimmie Said:

Is anyone the parent of an autistic child? Would you like to share your story? ideas or suggestions?

We Answered:

My19 year old son and foster son both have Aspergers. My foster son has only been with me for five years so I don't really know much about his early history. We really believed my son was gifted when he was little. He was crazy about trains and knew everything a child could know about trains, that was all he wanted to talk about. His vocabulary was huge, he would ask to have his sandwich cut "diagonally" when he was two! The only "problems" I could see was he was a total Mama's boy and he refused to play with other children. It wasn't until he started kindergarten that his differences really showed through. I was in denial about things until then. We had him evaluated at a Child Development clinic at a University at ages 5 and 8 to make sure we received an accurate dx. He has classic Aspergers, but is doing very well. I am hoping he will go to college next year!! Don't give up on your son. He is still very young and you just don't know what the future will hold. Potty today, friends tomorrow and maybe college and a good job in the future.

See if you can find that new movie about Temple Granden. It is very inspirational because she has classic Autism and has made a very good life for herself. My son wants her squeeze machine!!!

Thomas Said:

heey, can you please read my speech about phobias?

We Answered:

don't say 'phobia is a fancy word for fear' say something like phobia means fear in latin.

people don't 'do suicide' they commit suicide.

list the kinds of phobias in one sentence (you seem to have five, btw, not three) then list examples of them in the same order.

'When you have a phobia and you are forced or have to go through with it that person...' try: when a person is forced to be associated with their phobia....

and in general combine some short sentences to make it flow. i think it's excellant besides that :)
