Unfortunately, the schools probably won't accept you for therapy because you don't have multiple speech sound errors. You wouldn't be considered to be "severe enough".My suggestion is to find a practitoner at asha.org.
Because you are highly motivated and are aware of your difficulty, you won't need many sessions to fix the problem if you embrace what you're taught and give it your all. No speech pathologist has a magic wand; you get out of it precisely what you put into it.

Motivation is everything.The very last patient I had before I retired was 16 and had an /s,z/ problem. She went from saying the sound in isolation to using it correctly in spontaneous speech in 6 one-hour sessions.
I'm not saying this will be true in your case, but it doesn't have to take forever.

I suggest that you start practicing again and also see if you can get some advice from other people with a similar impediment so that you dont feel as though you are doing it alone. If you need more advice see a speech therapist and the sooner the better because (hopefully in your country) a minor might cost less in health insurance.Good luck.
