Which sounds like a better career plan?We Answered:
I'd go with the Speech and Language Therapy program. I have a friend who went into this, and she's paid pretty well. The only Psych person I know is a Jungian analyst, and she doesn't make very good money.Victoria Said:

Go to an average university for 4 years, majoring in speech and language therapy. Possible employers are not that impressed with a degree from an avg. university vs. a top tier one when it comes to speech therapy degrees so no worry there.Health professionals in specialties like speech therapy are so needed that you could start working for a hospital upon graduation. They may have a program to fully or partly pay for any postgraduate schooling you might want to pursue, too. You could only do the postgrad work in addition to your hospital job. So, I would find out what kind of difference it would make in eventual earning power, before I spent all the extra time and money on it.
